G.R.O.W. - G.R.O.W. Sunday School

According to the Yearbook of American and Canadian Churches Sunday school attendance has dropped from 41 to 26 million since 1972.  For this reason we realize the Sunday school needs to go through some changes.  Our classes focus on learning.  Students are encouraged to be involved in each lesson.  Come and discover a new kind of Sunday school. Children's Church

Children are the life of today's church.  We are blessed to have a compassionate and talented director. They say, "A quiet class is a boring class."  You won't find many quiet sessions of Children's Church around here, but you will find learning and fun.  With the right combination of singing, Bible, drawing, snacks and games each child is sure to have a unique experience each week.  Children's Church is taught by Elisa Bryson every Sunday morning at 11 a.m. Ages 3-10.  To send her an email click here.

Drama

Women's ministry

Women's ministry has long been a vital part of the total churches success.  Our Women's ministries offer several areas of service: TLC Committee, Planning and Service Committee, Publicity Committee, and the Fundraising Committee. YWEA

Youth World Evangelism Action.  This program was started by COG youth in 1957. The focus is an annual world missions project. Each year funds are raised for training centers, new churches and other areas.  The COG youth in Eastern North Carolina have become a powehouse for supporting YWEA. Youth Ministry

Explorers
